Este concepto veraniego y de carácter efímero ocupará, hasta finales de octubre, parte de la terraza ubicada en la octava planta del edificio. Tragos clásicos, vistas panorámicas de la Puerta del Sol y de los tejados emblemáticos del centro de Madrid, buena música, una carta de picoteo sencilla y rica y una completa programación de ocio diaria son sus irresistibles ingredientes.
La carta, con el sello de Familia La Ancha y Nino Redruello a la cabeza, es sencilla y fresca con platos ideales para compartir. Opciones clásicas que nunca fallan como las croquetas de jamón,-tienes que pedirlas ¡si o si!, las bravas, los calamares o o el sándwich club Thompson -con queso comté-, se entremezclan con otras elaboraciones más originales como el gazpacho de fresa y gamba roja, la ensalada César con pollo chilli garlic o el aguacate brasa con frittata y burrata, o la presa ibérica estilo lomo saltado.
Cocteles de autor
El diseño de la carta de cócteles lleva la firma de Ana Gracia, coctelera al mando de los tragos de Hijos de Tomás. Para diseñar la oferta estival, Ana ha querido homenajear a Madrid creando mezclas como La Violetera, preparado con Bombay Sapphire, azúcar, limón y licor de violetas o Madroño, con Bacardi Superior, licor de madroño, cordial de lemongrass, ginger beer y esencia de laurel. También tragos más frescos como el Mediterranean Spritz y opciones sin alcohol.
El nuevo rooftop de Thompson Madrid está equipado con una piscina con su propio pool bar. Abierta a finales de mayo y de uso exclusivo para clientes, la piscina del hotel eleva la definición de mero elemento de ocio y baño, transformando el lugar en un centro de relax que funciona como un oasis urbano en el que desconectar del bullicio de la capital.
